Victoria Beckham is an incredibly hard-working woman. She works to live and she lives to work – she eats, sleeps and breathes fashion, however, as much as we adore her collections, we also love it when her fun side gets unleashed every now and then.
Her eldest son, Brooklyn, is known for his impeccable photography and having an eye for detail. He always seems to have his camera out and enjoys sharing his work on social media. He’s spending time with his family in New York at the moment and so put together a hilarious little video of his Mum dancing around NYC at night time.
Luckily for us, he uploaded the vid to his Instagram account, on which he boasts over eight million followers, and captioned it, “My mum is bringing fashion to the streets. Times Square NYC @victoriabeckham @davidbeckham @kenpaves #coolmum” And hashtag cool Mum rightly so as not many mums would risk total and utter embarrassment for the sake of an Instagram video. Although, could VB ever really embarrass herself? I mean, she just looks SO cool like, ALL of the time.
In the video, which was 47 seconds long, Mrs Beckham boogies around Times Square wearing a loose white blouse and comfortable black trousers, from her own brand no doubt. She brings out the classic finger point and wiggles her hips amongst the locals who seemed to want to get in on the action. A crowd soon formed and they danced along together. However, it’s probably difficult for Victoria to go unnoticed at the best of times so it was probably even harder when she was throwing some serious shapes.
The streets of New York were Victoria Beckham’s very own catwalk for the night as she wiggled with people dressed as Olaf and The Cookie Monster and didn’t seem to care what anyone thought of her.
Brooklyn added Bee Gees’ ‘Stayin’ Alive’ in the background, which just so happens to contain the lyrics, “Whether you’re a brother or whether you’re a mother, you’re stayin’ alive.” Very apt, don’t you think?
