Ibrahim Johnson, the brother of highly touted University of Texas basketball commit Mohamed Bamba, alleged in a Facebook video the 5-star recruit accepted gifts from financial adviser Greer Love.

USA Today High School Sports noted Johnson said in the video he's "already reported (Bamba) to the NCAA" for taking improper benefits. He also said none of the interactions between Love and his brother directly involved the Longhorns program.

Bamba was ranked as the No. 2 overall prospect in the 2017 recruiting class, according to the Scout.com player rankings. He was also listed as the top center among the incoming group.

The 6'11", 215-pound defensive standout is expected to make an immediate impact for Shaka Smart and the Longhorns during his freshman campaign. It's unclear whether the allegations levied by Johnson could bring that status into question, though.

Texas released a statement to Yahoo Sports about his expected availability.

"As is usual practice by the NCAA, Mo's amateur status was previously reviewed and final certified by the NCAA Eligibility Center," the statement read. "The NCAA has not informed us of any pending issues or eligibility concerns at this time regarding Mo. If there are further questions, we certainly will cooperate with the NCAA to the fullest."

Along with his status as a top recruit, Bamba is also viewed as a likely one-and-done college player before making the quick jump to the NBA. Early projections from NBADraft.net show him coming off the board with the second overall pick next year.

Johnson said in the video he's going to meet with the NCAA to discuss the allegations and predicted his brother won't get to play for the Longhorns in the fall.
